Qigong is one of the traditional Chinese exercises and healing techniques, Qigong came from two separate words, Qi and Gong. Qi means breathing, meditation, imagination also Qi in Chinese means energy. Gong means movement, exercise, practise, so, putting the two words together means using the mental power or imagination to lead your breathing and also physical movement to keep fit. They include physical exercise with control breathing to lead the Qi energy to flow in the body following the acupuncture channels, by doing so to balance the body functions and to improve the mental and physical functions. They are very simple and practical self-healing techniques.
Tai Chi in ancient Chinese means the “ultimate force”. Chi is the internal energy of our body. Tai Chi is a sequence of gentle and slow movements derived from martial arts and the imitation of the swift and graceful movements of animals and birds.
There are a number of forms and styles being commonly practiced in China and Asia dating back over two thousand years.
Tai Chi has also been introduced to and used in Western culture for centuries. It is recognised by health practitioners that regular practice of Tai Chi can enhance balance, alignment, co-ordination and rhythm of movement.
Most forms of Tai Chi and Chi Qong are very gentle and therefore suitable for everyone. The movements focus on technique as opposed to strength, therefore, anyone can practice regardless of your physical ability or your age!!
Tai Chi is especially beneficial to those who are recovering from a physical illness or an older person who may not consider the ‘traditional’ form of exercise – e.g. gym or aerobic activities as it may be too strenuous.
Clinical Hypnosis is a safe and entirely natural integrative therapy. It initiates a welcoming, listening and learning process begun and overseen by you.
Put simply, it opens a channel to your unconscious mind, allowing you to perceive more clearly (and adopt more readily), ways of being and acting that are healthy and long-term beneficial.
I’m a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis, (BSCH) and registered with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council, (CNHC). I’m also an approved Anxiety UK Therapist.
Im qualified at Master’s Degree level in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (combining elements of Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy, (REBT) and hypnosis) and hold the highest academic qualification possible in his field, from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis and the University of West London, (where I’m currently a supervisor and tutor on their Clinical Hypnosis ‘CPPD’ degree level courses).
Practicing since 2009 I utilise the latest advances in hypnotic theory and therapeutic practice.

Mediation is now the preferred method of resolving an argument, or issues that occur after a separation, or the breakdown of a relationship; including arranging child contact, the custody of a child, child support maintenance and disputes involving money and property.
The voluntary process is confidential, and allows the people involved in a dispute to communicate and negotiate with the help of a mediator until an agreement is reached that can be made legally binding.
Family First Mediation have the experience and legal background to help in all Family Mediation and dispute resolution issues. We have conveniently located offices in and around London and are happy to handle both private and legal aid cases.
Family Mediation is a process in which an impartial third person, the mediator, assists those involved in family disputes to make arrangements. This can be as the result of a divorce, separation, the breakdown of same sex relationships or relationships involving other family members. Children can be seen as part of the process.
Mediation can be used where a couple has prenuptial issues or where they are considering separating. The process is managed by the mediator but the issues and concerns are brought by the couple.
The law changed on 6th April 2011 to require all private persons who wish to take a family child, family property or finance matter to court to first attend a mediator for a Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (a MIAM attendance). The matter is then dealt with by the mediator by checking if the second party wishes to attend for an assessment meeting and if so, mediation will usually follow.

I started attending Iyengar yoga classes 30 years ago when my children were small. All teachers of Iyengar yoga are trained to high standards and in 1997 I began my 2 year Introductory Teacher Training course, before starting to teach Iyengar yoga for Bexley Adult Education.
Since then, I have also attained Junior Intermediate teaching certificates and still teach the Bexley class.
I taught mathematics at a local secondary school for 20 years and I believe that both practicing and teaching yoga helped me to be the calm, compassionate and effective maths teacher that I became. For my last 3 years at the school, before retiring, Iyengar yoga was even timetabled for the Sixth Form as part of the enrichment programme.

We believe that it’s absolutely unacceptable that so many people die needlessly – because no one could give them first aid when they needed it.
St John Ambulance teaches people first aid – about 800,000 last year alone – so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.
And we teach people who become our volunteers; who offer their skills and time to be the difference right in the heart of their community – at public events, as first responders or providing back up to local ambulance services.
As a charity, we’re committed to making sure more people can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved. To do that, we need your help.
As the leading first aid charity, St John Ambulance relies on the work of dedicated volunteers to provide first aid treatment and training throughout the country.
With more than 45,000 volunteers, over half of which are under 25, St John Ambulance is able to treat 550 casualties per day, or 200,000 per year.

Primary goal ~ to improve the health and overall well being of each of my clients, I believe that a person and their conditions are inseparable and must be regarded as one and treated as a whole, each interacting and influencing each other.
The stresses and strains of everyday life have a profound effect on our bodies.
